PLAYA HERMOSA IS A SUPERIOR LOCATION
1. Playa Hermosa is a large, beautiful beach located on a good, paved road just 25 minutes from the Liberia International Airport. Playa Hermosa is the only beach in the area to have received the prestigious "blue banner" award from the Tourist Board for "cleanliness & Safety."
2. Seven hotels and 114 villas, eight of the best restaurants in Costa Rica, two discos, two mini marts and numerous bars are located on Playa Hermosa. All within walking distance of one another on the beach. Two casinos are located 5-to-15 minutes away by taxi.
3. Playa del Coco, a small fishing village and the center for many restaurants and nightlife is located 15 minutes from Playa Hermosa.
