We build it by hand
A Costa Rica Specialist designs your itinerary from hotels we know personally, with private transfers and the excursions that suit you. It is a place to start, and we change it until it is absolutely perfect.
You travel with us behind you
A greeter meets you at arrivals with your welcome pack, a private driver takes you between regions, and our concierge team is reachable 24/7 for the whole trip.

Two airports, two different holidays
Costa Rica has two international airports, and the one you land at shapes the whole itinerary.

A first idea of shape
How a week, or a fortnight, usually fits
7 nights: volcano and beach
Rainforest, hot springs and hanging bridges first, then a slower beach finish. We recommend no more than two regions in a week, so you spend your days there and not on the road.
9 to 14 nights: add a third region
Longer holidays are where Costa Rica gets really good: Tortuguero's canals, the Osa Peninsula, or coast to coast from the Caribbean to the Pacific.

Dry season
December to April
The sunniest months, and the most popular. Christmas and New Year fill first, so those dates are worth planning well ahead.
Easter
21 to 28 March 2027
Semana Santa is the busiest week of the Costa Rican year, when families here head to the beach. If your Easter holidays fall then, planning early really pays off.
Green season
May to November
Mornings are beautiful all year, and afternoon showers are normal. The UK summer holidays fall here, and the forests are at their greenest.
Turtles and the Caribbean
July to October
Tortuguero is at its best from July to September for nesting sea turtles. The Southern Caribbean coast is at its best in September and October.
